A: Hello! I’ve booked a homestay in Kyoto. I want to confirm some check-in rules.

B: Hi! Sure. First, the check-in time is after 3:00 pm. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage at the front desk, but you can’t enter the room until 3:00 pm.

A: What about check-out?

B: The check-out time is before 11:00 am. Please make sure to leave on time so that we can clean the room for the next guests.

A: Can I have visitors in the homestay?

B: You can have visitors, but they need to leave before 10:00 pm. And you should let us know in advance if you plan to have guests over.

A: Are there any rules about using the kitchen?

B: Yes, you’re welcome to use the kitchen, but please clean up after cooking. Put away all the utensils and clean the stove and countertops. And make sure to turn off the gas when you finish cooking.

A: What about noise? I don’t want to disturb the neighbors.
