A: What about winter? I heard it snows a lot in some parts of Japan.

B: Yes, in the northern part, especially Hokkaido, it snows heavily from December to February. It’s a perfect place for skiing and snowboarding. In cities like Tokyo and Osaka, it snows less, but it can still be quite cold, around 0 - 5 degrees Celsius.
