From the Bronx to the Billboards

Calvin Klein was the son of working class immigrant parents in the Bronx and could usually be found in the aisles of his family’s grocery business. At an early age, Klein became captivated by the beauty of fashion design, and although recognized for his brilliance, he struggled to actually find a way to make a living in fashion. On the verge of giving up and returning to the family business, his father gave him advice that would take him to the top.
